Got a late start today because I had 4 boats chartered to get away from the dock.Went north of the island and the first boat out was done at 1:00pm the rest of us struggled and had to sort a lotbut each got about 150 decent Perch. We are going tomorrow I'll let you know.

Went to cj yesterday morning, got on the water at 6:20 am and got off about 10:45. Kept 11 (9 w/b-2 crappie)five got off and through back 9.Tried the main road bed and a few humps,but marked few fish so and tried the bank on wind side and did ok. The wind was pretty bad white caps at times,but found fish down 6-12 feet and used trolling motor to work the area by jigging with jig heads tipped with minnows.Happy with the results,with fish in the freezer.

Went to cj this morning with my neighbor a fellow retired co worker,took my boat worked humps,drop offs and west bank,1 keeper cat,wb,gill,2 crappie and no eye.On water before sunrise and left a little after 10:00 am,water temp was 75 to 77 deg.We didn't try trolling this time, but I think this was a mistake on my part as we had fish hitting the surface at times.However some that we talked caught less than we did.Until the water temp drops night fishing might be best.

We have been f a mile north of the green can just off of catawba. The action has been quite decent for 5-10inchers. Plenty of keepers but you have to do a little sorting. No trash fish. Also got a CHUNKY perchy-Full Of Eggs???? Yeah wrong time of year right?????

We went to our usual spot. Saw 2 50 + flocks withing hearing distance. Then later had a pair give us a high fly by-no shots. A slow day to say the least... Wish I would had had some dove shot I think GG shot a bird aybe he will post a story

Got out around rattlesnake with a chitload of other boats aroud. Ended up with only a few in about an hour. Decided to move to north of rattle snake. Did OK but not very fast. Decied troll for eyes and stumbled onto a small pack west of northbass. Tried it here and had some decent action ntil we limited with our 50. Moved a bit north today. Just west of rattlesnake. Great action on decent perch. kept fish between 8 an 11in.

Lots of culling but still a good day with 13lbs. for 50 fish!

Great Perch Report- Greene Rattle Snake South Bass Area

Went out of catawba today with predicted 1-3's they were steady Headed straight to the east of greene pack in/between south bass and greene. Drove slowly through and didn't see one fish pull (think they were avoiding the wind?) Then Sassy Say headed out NW of greene followed he and pulunked down in the middle of a small pack. It wasn't long before the 2 of us were on em but the 3rd guy needed a little help... He did end up with a 12in. though :B Dad and I were stedily getting them but not very ...

East Harbor Panfish Report

3 of us hit the big pond launching from crazy mazuriks. Since it was rough we got into East Harbor and went for the pannies with some waxies worms and minnows. It was very weedy and if you have more than a small aluminum and you get out of the channel you would be in trouble. Anyways thats were the fish were in the weeds or lil pads. We saw many big carp jumping swans and many other anglers. We ended up with 28 keepers 4 crappie (Caught about 10-To small) Plenty of gills (shouldnt have kept 6inchers ...

My Favorite Fish For This Is Small Pike 2 To 3 Lbs But Any Fish Works Great.

Take A Pound Or Two Of Any Mild Tasting Fish* (Walleye, Sunnies, Northern, Crappie, Tilapia, Etc.), Mix Up A Paste Of 3 Parts Mayonnaise (Not Salad Dressing) And 1 Part Grated Parmesan Cheese. Dry The Fillets, Rub With Lemon Juice And Then Coat Them All Over With The Paste Mixture. Place Into A glass Baking Dish In A Single Layer And Sprinkle With Your Favorite Crushed Nuts. Then today decided to throw some jigs and worms and had an AWESOME day! Plenty of rockies smallies LM bluegills sheephead catfishand saw some carp (Even a mirror!) We caught so many fish surprisingly!!!!! Very nice day water was low and clear... Planning another trip soon for farther down river took pics of most of the fish but missed about 15

fished a new potential tournament spot tonight with renee and rocky from about 845 till 1130. it produced some really nice fish for us all..........i landed my personal best for this summer........ a 14 lbs 14 oz flattie on a live creek chub ...............renee landed her personal best for this summer............ a 8 lbs 12 oz flattie on a live rockbass..............and rocky landed a nice 6 lbs 6 oz channel cat on a live bluegill !!

Today (08/05/0 Went and tried Indian Lake. My first time up there... Launched at Lakeview and trolled the whole south bank. Then headed past Orchard Island. Went to Taco Bell and filled up... Headed from there around 2 small islands then to dream bridge only to lose a lure... Started to the ramp about 8:15 then trolled the south bank again... fished the Ohio River tonight with Dad...........Chuck............Joe and Joes buddy Dwain. the fish were biting pretty good but the average size wasnt very good at all. cant complain though we all had a GREAT time and i cant wait to do it again !!! all of our fish were caught on live creek chubs and bluegills and cut bait !!! we ended up with 11 fish landed and LOTS of runs on live bait that didnt hook up !!! fished from about 9 pm to 2 am !!

Dwain had the MOST FISH honors with 4 fish ...
