A Minnesota Christmas
This year Christmas was a little different spending it way from home but not family. One of my brothers and one of my sisters plus mom and kids 14 in all from 13months to 75. We load the truck and trailer and headed north with the first stop being in Aitkin County to fish with Crappie Keith and T.H.E jig. The wife was nice enough to spend the day with the kids and swim in the hotel pool while we landed a few fish, over 120 for the day between Steve, Keith and myself. After a long day on the ice I had 140 mile drive to our week long stay at Timber Bay resort and house boats staying in the bear trap lodge 7 bedrooms and a great view of Birch Lake. www.timberbay.com
The rest of the week was spent just having fun with the family on the lake ridding around and trying to find the fish, we found fish just couldn’t get them to bite.
