Sandusky River (Sandusky County) - The Sandusky is at average level and still on the muddy side. The water temperature is 54 degrees. Excellent numbers of walleyes are being caught. The best lure seems to be small floating jigs with pink or yellow Twister Tails. Between the bridges is the best spot.

Schoonover Park (Allen County) - Nice catches of bluegills have been reported. Still fishing wax worms under a bobber or casting jigs is working well. The north end of the bay seems to have the best results.

Lima Lake (Allen County) - Rainbow trout have been caught recently. Fishing corn under a bobber or casting spinners have worked well. Crappies have also been taken by casting spinners, jigs or PowerBaits. Also, bluegills have been caught in good numbers by still fishing wax worms or night crawlers under a bobber or casting jigs. The fishing dock and near the boat ramp are the best spots.
