Fishing Fun at the Portage-Monster Bullhead

After the trout we decided to try for some cats, three of us but really I was the only one who fished because they were buliding a fort lol. So it started slow hit a climax then tapered off as the day went on slowed back down. We saw wo eagles today, some geese, and some seagulls who all provided a little sightseeing. We used the same old rig and the water is warming so chicken livers should be good soon along with minnows. If you wondered the fort and te "island" are coming along good.

The main fun was when I caught a bullhead with someone else hook in there, and it was red line so not me!! My buddy was using red the other day so I wonder??? The big bully was 14/1/2in! Also saw a boat which is rare, may have been a member from here? Wink
