They stocked the trout today and we weren't the only ones there Wink

At pearson it took us about 30min to catch our limit with a few C&R's

We got there not too long after the truck dumped them because it was still around when we got there

At first I went to my lucky spot and didn't get any bites and didn't see hardly any fish caught either.

I tried both ponds then gave Dad a call to see if he was doing any good

He caught one and the people next to him were tearnin em up with powerbait so I went over there

Then the fish started to get active and we got hits on every cast

At whitestar,
By the time we got there the rain was coming down pretty good but we were only going to c&r for some fun and to check it out so it wouldn't be bad

As we first walked down hardly anyone was around but one guy caught one fast so we thought it was going to be really good!

Wrong, we tried powerbait on bobbers, had a few fish follow ups and I got one by jiggin a spoon near the surface ona follow up lol a lil baby

That was it-the fish were scatted-good luck

hey nice fish. question is do you eat them. we have a stocking by us every year, and we kept a few a couple years ago, but they turned out nasty tasting. if you do keep them how do you fix them? couple of the older guys around say it is what they feed the fish while they are raising them that makes them nasty tasting.

They're pretty good! So yes we eat them

I'll have to ask my Dad how he fixes them but he loses alot of meat cutting around bones...
