Crappie Fishing in NJ
Crappie fishing is really picking up in Nj. Yesterday me and my friend went to a pond trying to get some bass of the beds but there was none. So we decided to go for crappie and bluegills. We caught a total of 5 crappie and probabaly 20 bluegills wich were all keeper size but released. We caught some bull gills and and descent sized crappie. We plan on going back today and on sunday in the canoe. All the fish caught were pullled off submerged logs and trees. It was back to back crappie for 15 minutes but we lost a few.

Yea i only have 1 road runne its all whitw but there is so much stuff under water there its not worth using lures and bait works better there because its heavily fished but ill try the road runner tomoro cause its thunder and lightning today

ever try a beetlespin or any of the rebel microbaits? You won't really snag up that much.

Re: Crappie Fishing in NJ
I've just started to do that same thing.. normally I fish for bass and saugeye, but panfishing really has my interest right now.
Let me know how it goes and we can compare notes.

Heck yeah... the package always has one that's pre rigged and when they do that it breaks down the plastic... they just don't keep on the shelf.
