Fishing Some pond bassin and a gill! ICE

As always they would run up to the bait and watch for anywhere from twenty second to five minutes. tried everything and only got one nice gill to bite and a real good largie hit also, on thursday we got these fish through about 5in of ice. Any suggestions on what will get those picky suckers to bite?

Sorry jon I don't fish for bass so I can't help ya , but thats a nice one I bet he was fun . Nice sled also .
