allweather, eye2 and me hit the river today, nice mixed bag of saugers, perch crappie and a nice walleye, eye2 got the walleye, awa got perch, crappie,saugers, me couple of perch and 2 saugers, allweather put the smack down on us today, we thru jigs most of the day until awa rigged up a couple of slip floats fishin in 18 fow with rosy red minnows from petland, our new secret bait. lol, no joking. weather go to be a little chilly at the end of the day with snow flying and mud everywhere u stepped with two of us hitting the deck. it was a fun day to be on the water, ended up with another fishin buddy, can never have to many, here's some pics[img][/img][img][/img][img][/img][img][/img]

It was my first walleye ever caught in ohio so I was pumped! Looking foward to a couple weeks from now hope the weather breaks this week like they say it is going to.

they were just a touch of the bottom maybe 2 to 3 inches

Yeah, we had a good time out there! Rosey reds on the slip definitely gave us the slight edge to shake the skunk! LOL I love pitchin jigs as much as the next guy but you can't argue with what works! Glad to have made a couple more fishing buddies! This weekend is looking hot for the action. We've got to start a fund for a signal booster for Jim's phone! Anyways, it looks like the weather is breaking and from here on out it should be good fishing about anytime you want to go!

what town are these locks by? I may head down that way with one of you guys for an all day trip if the fish are biting!

allweather, i am defin goin a week from saturday, already fore warned the wife i'll be gone all day, we can hit belleville or willow, pretty sure eye2 wants to go again. jonny it's at reedsville oh about an hour up river from gallipolis locks.
