well this is my first year fishing the maumee and man has it been fun!!! Took a day to get the hang of it and a lot of reading. Went monday to get the feel for everything, mainly just observed. Went Tuesday morning and caught 3 legals, and went yesterday afternoon and caught one legal. Here are some pictures.

Nice fish man! You guys are making me want to give those rivers a try! You can catch big fish like that in the big "O" but they are few and far between. Plenty of sauger though. Nice work I'm jealous!

nailed em today.... even the girl friend managed a nice legal fish lol ended up with my limit for the day. Fished the morning 9-12 and caught 1 hog jack. Then fished the afternoon with the girlfriend and snagged 3 eyes, and caught 3 legal jacks. Also had 2 get off right at shore that were hooked through the mouth.

thanks man.... I have only fished one spot and it holds alot of fish. Been catching em pretty consistently. Fished this morning for 2 hours and caught 3 legals. Crowds forced me to leave. Thought I was going to go crazy when I was putting a fish on the stringer and 2 guys moved into my spot lol. After that I had enough. Ill be back there later in the afternoon with my buddy, hopefully the crowd leaves.

Nice fish kprice! Not trying to barge in on your spot, but where on the maumee are there rocks like that? I'm stumped lol

My dad and I went today from about 4-6pm and caught a few snags. Only seen 1 fish landed.

Those are some really nice eyes. I think the expressions on your faces says it all. Must have been a great time fishing this past week. Congrats, and continued success.
