Got a 44 last night

Although I am disappointed in the smaller flathead this year, I will say that everyone is finding it difficult to locate big fish. I went to a spot last night that I feel certain has a 60+ flathead. I saw the fish during spawn and I don't believe he has wandered far.

For 3 weeks I have had the skunk but my buddy did manage a flat last night.



This is the second big female caught this year in that area. Normally the females go off to occupy small coves where they are the only big predator in the area.

The last 3 years have been tough for big fish but everyone across Ohio has had a tough year this year.

I reckon I'll keep looking and maybe trip over a big fish sometime.
