went out there around 9 this morning and just now got home... caught around 60-70 crappies and gills (kept about 10 for the spring channel bite), but they were all dinks, the biggest one was around 9"... fished the marina areas and just inside the breakwalls... ice in the marina is about 5-7" and the ice on the main lake, as said by 3 fishermen coming in off it, was about 4-6"... they didnt catch any eyes, but they have been getting a few one said

went out again this evening for about 2 hours... wind was brisk in the least, and dint take me long to realize that! fished the marina within the breakwalls off one of the docks and got into the gills... kept 13 good size ones (7"+) and probably threw back 20 or so... also got 3 dink crappies... all fish were caught on a chartreuse teardrop jig tipped with spikes

a buddy from the OGF website went out saturday and did pretty good on channel cats through the ice on CJ...
