liver wrap..does good job

here it is, our liver wrap. generally 4 by 4 piece of pantyhose square then liver and hook in the middle with the pantyhose folded up over the hook we secure it with a girls hair braid rubber band and we catch channel cats like these.....

i've used the pantyhose trick before and find it to be too trouble some and time consuming... but thats my opinion... Im not much on the "different baits" anymore since I've almost completely turned to live or cutbaits... but back when my dad and I fished paylakes every weekend, we used just about everything for bait... and some of it was nasty as hell!!!

Chicken liver is still a good bait especially when targeting channels in really cold water and in really hot water... really does the trick sometimes, but for now ill stick to my live and cutbaits... Biggest channel I've ever caught came on a shad head in CJ Brown reservoir... just topped the 23lb mark
