Well I have been itching to catch some white bass down at good ole Fremont and I finally got a chance right after the trout. Headed straight to the river and with bernie's report from the anglers supply bait shop, it sounded pretty promising. To say the least about how packed it was, I have NEVER EVER EVER NEVER EVER seen it this crowded before MAY!!!!!!! The banks were lined with people, the water was at normal levels pretty warm to my touch and a little muddy with 4-6in. visiblibility. Anyways I'll talk about how other people were doing before I go on about me. The report was yesterday they started hitting on tails and other methods and have been caught troughout the river, when he said that it was true, guys had huge stringer fulls. Mostly from the morning bite as I could tell and see. Most people said the moring was really good and as the day went on it got worse. The main baits were ILLEGAL double jig rigs and plenty of roostertails down there. I wish I would join the crowd so I could catch more but it's not worth it. Anyways I threw my beetle spin while Dad and my buddy tried the jigs. We first walked to a few spots in between the packededness not much doing. Then we hit a spot where a few were biting Dad and Austin satyed there as I kept moving upriver trying to find an active school. I didn''t catch hardly any fish until I got below the train bridge. Then I picked up three as guys on "the smooth rocks" across from me where nailing them pretty good. I aslo so a guy reel in a legal walleye, it looked sub to me. After this I worked my way back to them and picked up a few in between. When I got back after fishing an hour or a bit more we had about 30 total. Most smaller fish this year, 9-10in. Took em home, cleaned them and the trout and had a great lunch.

Is it a site specific law? Everybody on Indian Lake uses a tandem.
