2 Days-Dusky and Portage River Report

Yesterday we walked the long banks fo the dusky. Water was down and so was the temperature. A few guys with minnows were gettin em but we only picked up one or two at every spot... They were few and far between. Rain has brought up the river and muddied it some. Today Dad went upriver with the rules off and he got nothin but big carp. He said he saw a few with eyes and he caught a couple smallies too...

Then today, even though I knew the river had come up I wanted to try a canoe trip. It was high and muddy with a few trying at 590. We went up to elmore and tried a few spots but it was too muddy. When the water goes down I think it may be good
