Monday a buddy and I hit the river with the new decked out canoe. I would just like to add before I go into this that even though my buddy has more pictures in the end I did end up catchin two more than him


Now as soon as we put the boat in, we floated only a small way until I got the anchor out and my buddy had his first fish on... I couldn't believe it. but it told me the river is in its prime right now, I wish I could have fished today, long story

After that we watched them jump everywhere, this one guy had a stringer full, we knew it would be a good day! I had a tandem rig on and my buddy used a bettle spin. We floated a good amount of the river until we got picked up at dark. Caught em up until then from a few good spots. I won't put numbers in but compared to what I've been getting, you should be able to "do the math" of how many we caught
