Home River "upriver" Trip

Water was pretty muddy but had an hour and a half to spare so a buddy and I tried it.

We hit the longest and deepest hole I know of and there are some spots where rocks stick up...

I tried my favorite black rooster tail for the river and my buddy threw the whitebass killin beeetle spin.

It didn't take him but a few casts to hook up with a couple rockies... that was it for a long time, after we started to move around, I hit one, a nice smallie in the rapids.

After about another 15 minutes we left with no more fish... A pretty slow day, to muddy and high (not too bad) I suppose
