October Saugeye on Indian Lake

I actually got out the other day!

Took my dad up to Indian Lake and had about a 3.5# saugeye on the 4th cast. Thought it was going to be a tremendous day with a start like that, but appearently I was the only one who had caught anything in over two hours. We fished for about an hour and a half total and aside from a couple more knocks.... nothing.

I got a couple beautiful fillets and cheeks a little bigger than 50 cent pieces. I'll be having a sandwich as soon as I get to the store and get a nice hoagie roll!

Good to here someone has at least some luck. Planning on winterizing my boat soon as I stablized & toped off the fuel today as this saturday and next weeks weather doesn't look good. Oh well come on spring !!!
