Outdoors Fish Hatchery Open House

The PA Fish Commission is hosting an open house at the fish hatchery in Linesville,PA, on Pymatuning Lake, Saturday April 3, 2010 from 1100am - 300pm. Admission is FREE! There will be demonstrations of stripping walleyes of eggs and sperm and how the hatching process is performed. Also there will be other demonstrations being performed by State Personnel. It is a very informative event, and it is a terrific event to take a kid to. Don't forget to grab a piece of fresh fish at the cooking demonstration outside. The hatchery is located 1/2 mile south of Linesville, going toward the Spillway, or approximately 1 mile North of the Spillway. Cool

I remember when I was a young child are family went to our fish hatchery and took the tour and it was a lot of fun but they don't do it no more . Shame it so far away .
