Smoke and silver glitter baits

With Spring fast approaching...hopefully...it's time to stock up on swimbaits, grubs, triple tips, etc, in the smoke and silver glitter colors. This is an excellent color choice before all the spawns take place and all of the new food hatches. Local minnows mimic this pattern and is the main forage, especially at lakes like CJ. On dark overcast days try a black jig head and white/pink nibblet, or on bright sunny days go with a chartreuse jig head and nibblet. After the fry start hatching...it's time to match that hatch!
