off early........quick trip...could be on short time!!!

got off work today at 1. was on the ice by 2:30, but it was slow 45 minutes til i got my first bluegill. it picked up then pretty good. i was using a jig and on second pole was using the jigging rapala. bammmm!!!!! bass....bamm...huge perch..bamm huge perch again, but lost all at the edge of the hole. finished up about 4:30 with 23 keeper bluegills and 1 largemouth. good to be on ice. trying to get out all week since heat wave is on the way. this might be last of it. have 1 job to look at tomorrow morning and then i'll be on the ice. will report tomorrow night.

did alot better than I did today... only managed around 10 small gills on CJ Brown... wind picked up and I started to get cold and got a hungry gut...
