CJ Brown

I was out fishing thursday evening and friday morning at the CJ Brown spillway... on thursday evening I only caught 3 perch one of which was 11" and I watched another guy pulling them in left and right also catching 3 crappie, biggest one was 13" and a 14" walleye which was too small so it was released... on friday morning I caught about a dozen perch in the 7-10" range with a bonus 12" crappie... I watched a guy pull an 18" walleye out also... fishing is starting to pick up around here...

just a 1/32oz leadhead jig tipped with a waxworm... It's a rig I was using last year for crappie and decided to try it before changing over to an ice jig or maybe a pop eyed jig, but didnt need to since they took the regular jig... I figured I better not change or fix something that wasn't broke

thats true, wish we had more perch over here, best eatin fish in my opinion

Nice catches! Still waiting for the bite to pick up at Indian.... we should have went trout fishing!
