Fishing Cannot get skunked, first ice trip

Well didn't even bring the rods the other day, just went to check the ice thickness with the spud bar

Had some fun and dug up some shad that were frozen in the ice Very Happy We both got one, that was our catch for the day Smile

How thick is the ice now? Last I was there it was 3.5

awesome catch, one thing i always notice about your pics is your always wearing life jackets, glad to see your not as stupid as i was when i was your age

that's definitely a good point to make!!! we all need to be more aware of the fact that we ARE on ice and at any minute it can break and we are through it... so being prepared for the worst is always a good hand to have... good thinking Jonny. Good Post
