well i put my turk hunting on hold to try to get my neighbor a bird since he has never taken one, we started out bright and early and got the first shock gobble at about 615, so we went farther back the logging trail and i located him again a mere 100 yds. we set up and i started with some low yelps, man these birds were thunderin. then when i knew they were out of the roost did some agressive fightin purrs, was like pullin him in on a string hammerin the whole time, he got within 45 yds and my buddy got a little excited. then BOOM, then he flew away, what an awesome morning, he's already pumped for tomorrow.
