Whitebass Contest

I was thinking about starting a small white bass tourney for May 1st thru June first. This would have a small entry fee for a weekly contest winner. Then at the end of the month there would be a grand prize winner. To enter your fish (anywhere in Ohio (caught)) you would take a pic of your fish by a tape measure and then I would have a small patch to also be put in the pic to signify it was recently caught. If anyone is interested has comments or would just like to vote. PLEASE DO THANKS

I would have beat you all. I got an 18 incher at Tappan fishing for large mouth. See, you guys got lucky and saved your money.

I'm in! And remember Flathead this is biggest, not most! We'll be taking a lot of pictures for this one.

Biggest WB I've ever caught was 25"... I thought it was a hybrid by the size of it, but we verified it with a fisheries biologist at CJ to be a WB... just missed the state record by .37 lbs

Sounds like it could be fun, let us know fees and regs on this... I may participate

Where do you have to catch them? I live in walking distance of the Maumee river. Is that far game?

As long as it is an ohio body of water it's legit... so you're good to go on the maumee

I imagine that right now some of you are trying to figure out if it's worth it to make the drive to Fremont for this thing!

Hey saugeye, a white bass rookie is as good as a white bass veteran(if there is such a thing.) You may be the Bill Dance of WB fishing and not even know it yet.

That sounds like a pretty safe bet for you to get on them... I'm sure by now you've seen the numbers he pulls from there.
