Went to cj this morning with my neighbor a fellow retired co worker,took my boat worked humps,drop offs and west bank,1 keeper cat,wb,gill,2 crappie and no eye.On water before sunrise and left a little after 10:00 am,water temp was 75 to 77 deg.We didn't try trolling this time, but I think this was a mistake on my part as we had fish hitting the surface at times.However some that we talked caught less than we did.Until the water temp drops night fishing might be best.

Wow sounds like a slow day on cj!
Thats not normal for you!

They need 1.0 oxygen to live well so they only reason they would go deep is for food... So trolling may be the hot tip Wink

OhioFisher, Found the state web site earlier and in fact the oxygen level is good to about 10 feet now. Was planning on going this morning,but when my alarm went off at 4:30 it was windy and wet.As you know CJ is no place to be in the wind. My wife offered to take me shopping today and tomorrow,so I' am doing honey do list today(no brainier) and fishing tomorrow morning. .
