Ice update on Indian and CJ

talked to a few guys today down at the marina at CJ and they have been hitting some decent crappies and gills on CJ (on tear drop jigs tipped with maggots) and have been limiting out on saugeyes up at indian lake around moundwood, and red's landing (they were using vibees)... then they have been getting panfish (thats what they said... so it was probably both gills and crappie) around the old indian lake area

i've heard the same thing.except for the saugeye part.

Good to hear moundwood and old Indian are thick enough to walk on,
I also heard the same about CJ some dink crappies and gills.

went down to CJ marina this morning just checking if everyone is still alive... and didnt see any action on the lake... saw where people had been out there yesterday evening... but the main road through the reservoir had been plowed but not salted, and the hill down to the marina is kinda tricky... just kept it in 4x4 and didnt have any problems
