Tusc River Smallie 4-01

Fished the Tusc river tonight with Rocky for smallies/saugeyes !! we tried several different areas..........and i finally caught my first smallmouth of the year a fat fish that id guess was around 14 inches........caught it on a cordell baby wiggle o crankbait (firetiger color)............also landed a fat rockbass on a smoke grey with red flake tube bait !!!!

Nice smallie, theres alot of days i fished the hocking river that i would of killed for that one. Its got me itching to get out there, but thats not happening on the hocking for atleast a couple weeks. Anyway congrats on gettting in the action.

nice fish.you'd figure with the water still cool, the smallmouth would take the tube before it would wack a crankbait. good job!
