Fox Lake
Went out to Fox Lake after lunch been itching to get back to this lake cause last time i was there i didn't catch a thing. Well it didn't start off so well, lost 2 fish right at the boat at the beginning but ended up catching two bass the biggest being just under 16 1/2 inches. At first i thought it was one of those days where nothing was gonna go right and i was gonna get skunked. They were caught on a green and white strike king spinnerbait and the bigger one was caught on a bandit footloose crankbait the color is called mistake (yea thats actually what its called) its orange on one side and yellow on the other i've found it to be a good color in muddy water which the lake was extremely muddy and the wind was blowing big time too straight from the north seemed like. Heres the link to the pics i don't know how to post the pictures on my message:

Re: Fox Lake
nice fish. glad water is warming up enough for some spinnerbait action. as far as the color "mistake" goes, i have a jig trailer i use in muddy water that is orange and they love. everyone thinks i am a nut when i get out and it is hanging from the end of my rod. not so crazy as i blast the bass right next to them.
