this weather is killing us

this rain needs to stop and it needs to warm up and stay warm. had fishing trip planned yesterday with kim and boys, but by 9:30 it was raining pretty good so we cancelled. today i had to work, but was off by 3pm. hit cobb lake with a bucket of minnows and started down the west bank hitting all the brush piles. got a 2 pound bass, threw back, and then 1 -10 inch crappie. was hoping for half dozen , but no luck there. we are finishing up taxes tomorrow morning, and i am off so we will try to get out and find a few. wyatt is back to school so it is easier to move around from spot to spot with only elliott. he likes to move and find new spots. big adventure!!!! we'll report back in the evening, with some pictures hopefully.
