Went fishing for bluegills for a little and my boy ended up catching his first bass it was little but it was big to him hes used to catching bluegills "I never caught anything that fought like that" was his words.

way to go. good job. what were you using for bait? how was the fight? awesome i'll bet. did it jump and splash?

We were actually just using nightcrawlers, nothing special. I thought he lost the fish about 5 times took him so long to get it in. I just go behind my house down in the holler as we call it around here and i could probably catch well over 100 nightcrawlers if i really tried. Its easy bait for bluegills and sometimes we catch other stuff on occasion. I don't use live bait unless i catch it myself lol i know a nice spot to put a minnow trap too.

Glad you had the camera to get that first bass pic.

Here is Jayme's first bass on a pond were we used to live boy do I miss this lake.

Thats a really good picture, i couldn't get him to take his eyes off the fish and look at the camera. Yea it was the pond by Snowden, tomorrow i may try to sneak to Snowden and fish from the bank without a pass if it don't start pouring rain too early.
