I got lucky and found some decent tackle today in the trash, besides being dusty they are in pretty good shape

EVEN IF ITS NO GOOD, IT GIVES YOU SPARE PARTS. there were lots of times when we had the shop, that someone needed a screw for their bail or something. you'd be surprised how many different brands use the same size screws. i kept a box about the size of a suitcase around for everyone to dig thru to find what they needed. when someones reel was done they would throw it in the box. helped lots of young kids out.

Cool stuf can be had I once found a new Minn trolling motor 32 thrust and a meenow bucket.

Nice. I once found a rod and reel. The kicker was it had a bass on the end of it. I was fishing a Lake Erie marina, and caught someones rod and reel with a spreader on it. One bass was still hooked on the spreader. When I reeled it in, a guy on the bank said "I've seen it all now".

Nice find on the tackle.
