Buck Creek Whitebass Run

Well Saturday morning with strong winds, it being elven thirty, and I was unsure of tring the marina for early spring crappie I decided to try Buck Creek.

It was early but there were plenty of people around, by that I mean-someone in every hole!!!!

I was hoping for a nice relaxing saturday afternoon with maybe a dozen WB would be nice

Well I was wrong but I'll tell you about my trip anyways

Headed straight to my lucky spot to find it wmpty of fish and looked as it has been fished pretty hard, so I moved up and found a small hole with some fish shining

On my first cast I missed my first bite, then after that I didn't get anything but kept seeing the shine

Finally decided to throw and jig out a rip it through the hole and snag whats there
-Got a shad and a carp in the mouth! Fighting the carp was fun!

So after snagging slowed down I moved back river all the way until I saw a few guys getting them on chub minnows

My cousin was coming down so I told him to get some minnows while he was at it

As soon as e got down he got a couple nice whites, then it shu off
We moved again-I got three-one not big enough to clean!!!

That was it for the day-REALLY SOW!!!
