One more day for smallies-EAGLE

Finished my stretch of river that I wanted to get done before I set off to Canada in a few days.

Walked down in a spot that I had hit the night before and you could tell

The smallies were "shinin" Thats what I call it when you can see em turning sideways going after baitfish

Picked up a few but it wasn't too good till I hit one of the best spots on the whole river

The fish are fat, and not so hungry so you really have to work at em....

Caught lots of rockies today also, besides that those were the only two types of fish we got

Used live crawdads worms and jigs and spinners, all worked good

Holes have changed from last year, hope the action gets even better this fall



After fishing, driving home this eagle swooped down and got a ground hog, closer than he looks, awesome sight!

Wow thats crazy, I was once bombed by an eagle. He didn't get me but it scared the crap out of me Those things are bigger than I thought
