Hit Em Good At East Harbor Again-Esp. Bass

Well yesterday was my first actual trip to pretty much, mainly target bass. It was pretty rough on the lake, so on our way over from mazuriks we counted almost a dozen guys fishing the harbor on the windless side

We headed to the opposite side and I had on my spinnerbait, not too many casts and I had my first, nice bass!!

After that we worked plenty of areas and almost all of them produced fish... We did some "work" to get to some spots, in the back the water was muddy btw.

After we got tired of the bassin we went for some gills at our favorite spot and they were there once again, along with some bass

They were a bit smaller this time so we kept some around 6.5 which isn't much different than a 7 but they ate good today Smile

I got two monster pumpkin seeds too! They gave up some good fillets

After we got enough to clean (26) we did some more bassin

Plenty more to go around, they are pretty much everywhere and as you'll be able to tell from the pics we hit em pretty good and some with nice size

They liked spinnerbaits, and slowly worked baits like a rubber worm-FROG did NOT work

I had alot of fun, those bass are getting addicting!

Awesome, I'll be there this Friday and Saturday. Hopefully it doesn't rain on me. You ever drag a frog over those lily pads? That usually gets a hit or two. I like the new Rage toads, as well as the scum frog. I knew if you kept going after those bass you get addicted. I went yesterday and got skunked, although believe it or not I saw a pike hit my fluke about 5 feet from the boat. My lure was no more than 2 feet under when I say a large shadow come out of nowhere and hit my fluke. When I went to set the hook, he was gone lure and all. I think the teeth had something to do with it because it was not a line break. When I set the hook there was nothing there but slack, as I watched him swim right back under the boat dock. :afraid: Oh well I guess. I was pretty crushed lol. My buddy thought it was pretty funny, he said it looked like I saw a ghost. Good job tearing those bass up Jonny, keep at it the addiction only gets worst. Wait until you have that 20 to 30 fish day. I have not had one of those in a long time.
