Catawba East Harbor - Ice update

Quite a few out today

This morn it was locked up, and around 2:00 there was some open water forming in the catawaba cover area... Not very many guys in the good areas, just fishin in the thick non shove stuff

Although there were about 15 I'd say that went west and then a smaller pack went a lil north avoiding where the open water was in recent.... They were in an area that some fish could be caught no major report from out there but there is quite a bit of ice out there.

Also some guys went off the east harbor beach into 18ft never found less than 6 inches...

IMO you could go straight out off the moose about four miles and ya would be into some fish but someone just needs BALLS lol

Guys are going out of metzgers marsh, 4ish miles out behind the airboats today, fishing is decent...
