went to medina lake in northeast ohio on saturday and was able to land 2 crappie and 3 small bass. I was using a stump jumper (very similar to a roadrunner). Both crappie were over 9 inches and one was 14.5. I went to rocky river on sunday morning and really got into them. I was using a 1/32 oz black n gold fly jig tipped with about 5 maggots. I was fishing about 5 feet down right at the boat launch. I was able to land 2 in about 2 hours. If you get there after 10 am dont even bother.

the cell phone pic does not do either fish too much justice lol.... I am going to start bringing a digital camera with me. If any of you guys are planning a stealhead trip let me know. They are in the rocky pretty thick now.

would love to come up sometime, never caught a steelie, how late in the spring can u still catch em. schedule is fulla at the moment, guess need to quit makin so many plans on fishin with everyone.
