teddy bear park..lima

we hit teddy bear park for some crappies this afternoon. caught 3 and one was 5 inches the other two pushed 10 so we kept them. kim landed a 1 1/2# largemouth which we RELEASED. we got all of these in about 35 minutes then the sun went behind some clouds and it was over, not another hit in the next 2 hrs. we called it quits and headed home. forgot to take pics. we'll get them next time. elliott was with us, and he tried pretty hard with a minnow net to catch two big frogs, but no luck. we even had him try sneaking up on them on his knees, but they are just too fast. of course when you're sneaking and singing the catching frogs song you made up, they won't really stay put.
